Family Art Clubs

Our Family Art Clubs evolved after three years of running Art Discoverers, Explorers & Adventurers for young people as a way to engage the whole family. Starting in September 2025 we will be working with 30 families from Dumbarton with classes for young people, their adults & full family experiences in the summer holidays! 

This term's classes are now full but we will be opening sign ups forJanuary 2026 later this year. 

Family Art Clubs are funded for three years through National Lottery's Community Action Fund.

Discoverers and Explorers Year 1 was funded by the Scottish Government’s Youth Arts Fund through Creative Scotland with support from Youth Music Initiative and Time to Shine. The Youth Arts Fund ensures creative opportunities for children and young people continue to exist across Scotland despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

Discoverers, Explorers & Adventurers Year 2 was funded by Creative Scotland’s Open Fund: Sustaining Creative Development and YouthLink’s Youth Arts Open Fund.

Discoverers and Explorers 2024 was funded by National Lottery’s Awards for All.
