Art Youth Clubs

Art Discoverers, Explorers & Adventurers is a project bringing arts based youth clubs to Dumbarton. Run by facilitators Lottie Barker & Lesley Howard alongside emerging artists from West Dunbartonshire, young people have the chance to explore different art forms and meet local artists.

As of January 2025 we are awaiting funding to continue this project and will be back in touch with all previous attendees as soon as we know about Art Youth Clubs future.

Discoverers and Explorers Year 1 was funded by the Scottish Government’s Youth Arts Fund through Creative Scotland with support from Youth Music Initiative and Time to Shine. The Youth Arts Fund ensures creative opportunities for children and young people continue to exist across Scotland despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

Discoverers, Explorers & Adventurers Year 2 was funded by Creative Scotland’s Open Fund: Sustaining Creative Development and YouthLink’s Youth Arts Open Fund.

Discoverers and Explorers 2024 was funded by National Lottery’s Awards for All.
